hello Asilidae-forum,

On a very warm afternoon I wathced this little elongated robberfly into a flowerfield.
The wings are short and got a gold gloss on the edges. Cool
The legs got also a golden glimpse.
Femurs are redish with black behind.

I am wondering what kind of robberfly this will be?
Maiby someone can tell me?

greeting, Robert

Hello Robert,

this is a female of Leptogaster sp., perhaps L. cylindrica.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
