Found roaming around in the Manager Air Traffic Office @ Scatsta Airport....looks similar to one found last year which was ID'd as Pterostichus niger..is this the same  , or something else  .Regards Roger Have more Photo's if required. Looks pretty right, another possibility is Pterostichus melanarius but I don't know if they occur where you are or not |

Thanks Trev & Philippe for confirming it as P.niger. Hoped it might be something else, but...... .Philippe does the lyric from B.Dylan mean something?Tried delving into any Frank Zappa or Tom Waits? .Or should you wish to rattle the old Grey Matter then Joe Bonamassa is the guy to do that  .Live streaming bellyup4blues is hard to beat, got it on at the moment.
