This one looks very much like the Platycheirus scambus I posted a while back, but this fly seems a little shorter. Short or long is not an issue in Platycheirus. Compare spots on abdomen and coloration of the legs... Check with peltatus as well! |

Thanks a lot for the advice Andre! I've ruled out P. scambus because the colour of the hind legs don't quite match.
