From today just north of Stockholm, Sweden. Going through the gallery it looks like Sphaerophoria scripta. Is it?

I think I read somewhere that the wings should clearly be shorter than the abdomen for S. scripta. If that is true, then this is another one ... or!? Ok, Jorge. I see I put this in the wrong forum ... Paul, move pleazzz |

Crex The wings shorter than abdomen character only applies to male S scripta. You probably won't get anyone to commit to an ID for a female Sphaerophoria from a photo. Susan |
