Hi Syrphidae well known for the interesting eyes colors and design patterns I'm looking for references / answers regard: 1. Explanation the functions of this pattern / structure ? 2. Is this pattern having special term in English or Latin? 3. Is this related to UV and Polarizing vision? 4.
