May 27, 2005. On the trunk of Alnus. Size around 12mm. Pictures were taken during short breaks in continuing nasty rain, it was windy and temperature was quickly falling from 15 to 5-6 degrees, so the fly was rather slow-moving. Dmitry Gavryushin attached the following image: [193.53Kb] |

Could this one with a pseudoscorpion on its leg be a male of the same species? Size a bit smaller.
