Seems to be the most common asilidae member in Hong Kong.
The only reported species here is Philodicus javanus though I'm not sure whether it is so.

It seems to be a female of an Astochis species.

Do you mean Astochia Becker 1913?
Any clue to this identification?
Would it be a Promachus sp.?
