hello flyforum,

This tiny Tephritis I found in the Amsterdam Woodforest.
It was wet and there was no sunshine.
There where also a lot of insekts which want to eat me for dinner, so I took the Tephritis only from above..

Hi Robert,

Tephritidae, yes. But I doubt that it's a Tephritis. Maybe an Oxyna? John will tell us!

Hi Robert, Jan-Willem,

Indeed it's not a Tephritis, but a Oxyna, O. parietina judging by the amount of hyaline spots in the wing.
