hi otherinsectforum, Is there a reasonable reliable character that shows some difference between these two species? Something in my head tells me that the yellow part in the middle of the antenne makes them more Dicyrtomina ornata? Something in my head tells me that the yellow part in the middle of the antenne makes them more Dicyrtomina ornata? I think its the other way round, they make them more saundersi. Also #4 shows the parallel horizontal lines of saundersi on the back of the abdomen. I think some people consider saundersi/ornata just different forms of the same species though. |
