Can we say for sure that this is Xylota segnis or should I cf it? From 11 May 2008, central lowland France (Indre et Loire), photographed on ivy.

Nope, I guess you can be sure it's segnis, even when the spikes on femur 3 are not visible.
The rest of the habitus suggests very clearly segnis!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
