Hello,

Here is a moth photographied at Sherbrooke, Quebec (near Vermont) last June.

I think it is a moth from the geometridae family. But which one???

Any idea???

Thanks again,

Michel

Hello Black,

Thank you very much for your help!

You are definitvely right with the genus Hydriomena.

In finally identified it correctly as Hydriomena divisaria (Transversebanded Looper)

Cheers!

Michel

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
