This seems to be the Phaonia I think might be P signata. I thought I might post another photo of a different specimen to see if anyone can get any further. Female, 8mm, from east London cemetery park, 29 April 2006.

And since the observant amongst you will have noticed that the previous photo was missing an appendage, I will show you that separately. It fell off, so I thought I might as well take the opportunity to photograph it. I note that although the cross veins are shadowed, the vein itself does not have the distinctive ogee shape of the previous specimen. Is this something that is variable, or is this a different species?
