Hello! I am courious to know what kind of grub or larva fed on rhubarb in my garden. It has a trunk-like appendage at the upper(?) end of it and it is surrounded by some small cryptic creatures (aphid larvae?) and mysterious jellied bolbs. Few mm long. 23rd of May 2008 > Hungary eguzki attached the following image: [104.65Kb] Edited by eguzki on 22-10-2008 00:28 Greetings, Tomi |

Hello, According to Rotheray, it could be Epistrophe eligans. The upper brownish appendices are the posterior respiratory tubes, that is the tail. The head is at the other end. Pierre Duhem |
