Hi, I anybody could send me, or point me in the direction of a PDF version of the following I would be grateful. Being linguistically challanged I would prefer the English translation, but good diagrams are important in any language. Krivosheina, N. P. and Mamaev, B. M. 1972. A review of the Palaearctic species of the genus Xylophagus, Meig. (Diptera: Xylophagidae) – Entomologicheskoe Obozrenie 51: 430 – 444 (In Russian, English Translation in: Entomological Review, Washington 51: 258 - 261) |

OK, thanks Paul, Jere Kahanpää and Kahis, it is X. ater, not very exciting but a new species and a new family for Greece. Actually I put one or two in with the Empids some time back so you may see them in time. Gordon |
