hi fyforum, I thought this was Phaonia palpata but now I am hasitating. The legs seems to be total dark, the other Phaonia p. got braunish/redish tibia.. And this fly is not as grey/dark like the ohter.. The palps are obvious anyway.. Does male and female Phaonia p. got difference eye-distance? Hay Robert, It looks like a Phaonia, but if it is the palpata ? (I have only two P.palpata and they look much darker and the palpen are more flatten and broad....??) Maybe P.magnicornis...(wild gues) Greatings Joke Edited by javanerkelens on 16-10-2008 00:11 |
