I saw this Tabanid in Hasliberg, 9 July this year, ca 1000 m altitude. Feeding on Hogweed in hey land. Very dark, and rather vague stripes in the eyes remind me of caucasica.

Confirmation or correction equally welcome!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
