Hello! This rather big (bigger than the T. vernalis flying at the moment on meadows here), pale Tipulid female was sitting on a tree trunk in the forest yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Can anything be said about the species? Thanks! (I know: no wing venation visible...) The pale colour could be due to the fact that it had only recently emerged...
