Dear Experts! Enclosed a diptera couple I found beginning of September in my garden in Amstetten (300m) in Lower Austria. The female is carrying rest of a prey. Some days before I saw this fly collecting nectar/pollen? on Soilitago. What ID could this be and is it living on prey or nectar? Thanks for help; Norbert. By the length of the mouthparts I would say yes. Difficult to say more.
