Hi, still in Comana Natural Park. in the morning a trip on the water to photo birds (not very successfuly) and late afternoon a trip in the forest with several flies photographed/collected (much more collected). i think this is from Anthomyzidae, very frequent right now. size ~3mm, several specimens collected. thanks for the help, cosmln [EDIT]: title updated, thanks Jorge cosmln attached the following image: [96.2Kb] Edited by cosmln on 04-09-2008 07:49 |

It depends on how many pairs of dorsocentral setae there are. If there are three (that is what I can see, anyway), then this would be C. villosula. If it is two after all, then it is C. persimilis.
