Sorry for the poor quality of the picture. Nevertheless, the fly deserves publication, I think: this is a melanistic form of C. loricata Rondani, with velvet black frontal stripe, which was described by Hendel as a separate species "C. holosericea", which I synonymized some 23 years ago. It is quite a rare thing in collections, so I am pleased tointroduce it to you...
