Hello,

P?rigord (South France), 270 m above sea level, 13/VII/2008. About 16-18 mm. This female was laying eggs.

Is the genus correct?

Yes,

this specimen looks very much like Eutolmus (rufibarbis), but Machimus spec. can't be excluded.
