is this again one of those flies that will end to a unit with "Siphona sp." label ?

No, (there's no long jointed proboscis and Siphona spp. are not black) but it could end up in a box labelled "Actia sp." Grin Looks like there are hairs on r1, r4+5 (beyond r-m) and cu, which is fairly unusual in tachinids. Would be nice to know how much of r1 has hairs Smile

Chris is right, it is Actia. Shape of third antennal segment suggests male A. pilipennis
