Can anyone help with this one? Because of its colors and its being glossy, I thought first of Chloropidae. But I couldn't find any photos of holoptic Chloropids. Maybe a male Syrphid instead? ID help would be appreciated. Date 12 July 2008. Length 4.2 mm not counting antennae or wings. Dark woods beside a very small stream, resting on the leaf of an herbaceous plant.
