Hello!

A rather small (6 mm) Calliphorid (?) from the light in our garden (northwest Germany), July-03. Perhaps Bellardia sp.?

The blue/green distinction is mentioned a lot in the literature, but I think it is fairly subjective (and difficult to judge in photos - one never knows how real a colour like that is) and I think from Gabor's posts in the past that he has found that whether a small calliphorid has a blue or a green cast is of little use or consistency once you key out the specimen.
