 Hello!

Can you say me, what syrphid is here on the photo? The abdomen is very flat and looks like a wasp. It has green eyes. It was found in Berlin, Germany.

Is it possible to identify this syrphid and its sex?

 Not a convincing wasp mimic, but a real wasp (bembix ?) !

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
