 This fly Was on a birch tree in the Scottish Highlands. Could anyone ID please. Thanks Jane

 There are 2 Muscidae looks like this - Thricops diaphanus and Phaonia pallida. Most nessesary characters aren't visible, but the hairy eyes permit us to choise - male of Phaonia pallida, Muscidae
