This Larvae was found on Bark, in a place with many oaks and beech tree near Amsterdam. It's about 25-30 mm. Is it Pyrochroa Serraticornis?, or maiby P. Coccinea? I found some images of P. Coccinea where the larvae got a black(dark) backstripe. The larvae I found didn't have this dark part. Or does this stripe got to do with it's state of growing? Or is it a characteristic sign? greeting, Robert Robert Heemskerk attached the following image: [113.28Kb] Edited by Robert Heemskerk on 03-04-2006 22:50 |
