I can imagine that. To me, the mouth edge is not pronounced enough. Moreover, the fly is not so bristly (for a Tachinid) as Ernestia s.l. My first impression, based on wing venation and the conspicuous whitish hairs on occiput, is that it might be some Exorista. And if so, it has hairy eyes, which is uncommon in Exorista. It's not grandis, given the ocellars, so it could be segregata. WARNING: long shot, not sure ! Theo |
