Location: Hungary Habitat: Dense foilage next to a small stream Date. 2008-05-10 Size: ~7-10mm? Hello! I am very curious about it because I have never seen it before such a fly. Family is Stratiomyiidae, genus is Beris, species... clavipes ?

This is one of the two yellow abdomened Beris species. (I never observed these.) I do not remember which these species are now. Please consider uploading these images to my Carpathian basin gallery (it is down at the moment but can be accessed here.)
