I saw this Sciomyzid fly this morning in Amsterdamse bos,the Netherlands. Not big, say 7 mm. Close to shallow stagnant water, with snails for instance Lymnaea. Suggestions as to ID are welcome! It's a female of Sepedon spinipes, Sciomyzidae.
