Stratiomyidae, Odontomyia discolor from Greece

Hi, another fly from Grrece (last one for now). it is a Stratiomyid found in a we area south of Athena (not far from sea). a lot of them resting before the sunset on grass. With the hairy eyes and the nearly invisible scutellar spines and the typical abdominal pattern, I would vote for Odontomyia discolor. Cheers Martin Martin Hauser |
