Strange Stevenia cf. angustifrons?

Hi, This seem to be pair of Stevenia cf. angustifrons. but female middle femur seem to be red. does it still S.angustifrons? And now to a bigger strange question, why does the two couple has only 4 legs each? zcuc attached the following image: [91.61Kb] |

Hi Theo, Not long ago I had posted a female photo here http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=11900&pid=56254#post_56254 both had red abdomen but last time female had black femur and here is it bright red. Does this colore variation acceptable inside this sp? zcuc attached the following image: [53.29Kb] |
