Stunned by the intricacy of the wing venation! Is it possible to ID from that? Two points about the image. The 2mm background grid lay beneath a plastic substrate which accounts for it being out of focus. And the wing venation benefits from the lighting of the subject. It was not nearly as obvious in natural lighting. Any suggestions? Alan aesculus attached the following image: [23.35Kb] |
