Good evening, I found this Calliphoridae on a leave of Crataegus and I named it Cynomyia mortuorum. Right ? Thank for your help ?ric |

According to an entomologist (but not dipterist) compatriot, it seems that Cynomyia cadaverina is very similar. But we don't know if this species is present in Belgium, nor even in Europe. Does someone know this species in Europe ? Eric Steckx |

As far as I know in Europe including European pert of Russia only Cynomyia mortuorum. Cynomyia cadaverina is Nearctic.
