Hi, This is another picture from the Baltic Island of Usedom, taken on 8 March. On a broken conifer trunk there were many small midges seen. Some stuck, already dead, to the resin, others seemed to be feeding. Do they belong to Mycetophilidae? They have such strong spurs at the tibiae. Top photo, top left should be [Mycetophila, as is second row left, others maybe, too, but certainly are Mycetophilidae.
