Hi flyforum,

Today I found a couple of Tipula(?), nicely 'bodypainted'

Is this a characeristic kind of Tipula?, to identify?

If wanted I've got more pictures from the wings and more.

Tipula lateralis, I believe.

Thank you kindly for the nice drawings Alan!

These wingveins fits well!, also the thoraxpatterns, collor of the legs..
The body(length)size of 'my Tipula's', were about 20cm.

I think it is Tipula lateralis, you are right! Smile
