Hello!

The pictures are not the best, but is it nevertheless possible to tell more than just male Platypezidae sp.? At light in the garden yesterday (northwest Germany). Thanks!

Hello!

I should have taken a closer look at the long antennae... Jorge Almeida told me (thanks, but why via email?), that this is more likely a Simuliid!

P.S.: I forgot to mention the size: about 4-5 mm (perhaps it was the rather big size, which did not make me think of Simuliidae).
