I've never seen Zaphne before. It seems that Kahis knows this genus, so it seems that Zaphne is rather northen genus I found this fly among material from Western Siberia - arista long plumose, notopleuron with hairs around posterior seta, katepimeron with seta (this setae are stronger than I've ever seen in Muscid on katepimeron), t2 without av but with very strong pv). Zaphne divisa is correct? Nikita Vikhrev attached the following image: [109.48Kb] Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
