Hi, Here comes a fly from last August, seen in Potsdam. First I thought of a tachinid because of the hairy abdomen, but wing venation points to muscids rather. The only comparable one known to me is Limnophora, but I might be absolutely wrong. So your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [163.15Kb] |

Muscidae, probably Helina (general + black spots on abdomen)
