After a very long absence during which I've had to dedicate my time to other things, I'm back to my beloved flies . I'm decidedly out of practice, so probably I'm way off the mark, but would this be a Sciomyzidae? Photographed a couple of days ago in long grass near Rome in Italy, about 4 mm long. Thanks to you all... it's good to be back . |
