I have this one on my site as a tentative Tipula sp. But is it? And if it is is there any way to tell which species? Each year dozens or more come from my pitiful lawn. Starlings are fond of them. Any clue as to the identity highly appreciated.... (Many) more pictures available should they be needed...

Cheers,

Pjotr zegt dat het waarschijnlijk een Tipula (Lunatipila) vernalis is!
