Hello, I identified this ladybird as Bulaea lichatshovi Hum. Comparison of my specimen with that in coleoptera database on zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera showed high similarity. So, is that true? (size: approx. 5mm, found: in winter wheat crop last May) Thanks in advance Sergey Sergey Golubev attached the following image: [89.33Kb] |

It looks a bit like Psyllobora vigintiduopunctata, but not completely ... |

No, not Psyllobora 22-punctata. There is a similar species on koleopterologie.de, I can not remember its name.

Thanks, Philippe. It was very difficult for me to separate Bulaea from Anisosticta by superficial description I have, so I was confused what it really is. Now I checked up this species on koleopterologie.de and http://www.zin.ru/animalia/coleoptera/eng/aninovkm.htm and I tend to your suggestion. Your may check up this species by last address too. Thanks. Sergey |
