Have a nice Day. One Question please. Can anyone help me with this fly. Because the thorax is not hairy? I would be very grateful for an answer. Best Regards Karl.
Data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 220m, fruit and herb garden, 4.4.2025, size approx. 6-8mm

Hello Eric thank you for the Answer of Brachyopa cf. excelsior. The genre is definitely right. She sits on a Fraxinus excelsior.
