Hi everyone, I would like to have your point of view on this Tephritis. On my other thread on "Le monde des Insectes", I proposed ruralis, regarding the criteria in Séguy's Key (Faune de France n°28). It looks to be the closer species to mine, but we are not completely satisfied of the ID. The 2 white dots in 3M2 doesn't touch the wing edge, in opposite of all the different photo on the individuals in gallery on DI or ""Le monde des insects". In addition, this Tephritis was finding alive, at 1900 meter altitude neer a frozen ice fall (north face), out of the flying period written in Séguy's book (from may to september). So, what's your opinion ?
