hi flyforum, Today I found this Tachinidae (~9-12mm) Wing is little damaged and one antenne is not working I think.. A lot of black long hairs, and further a typicaly white beard. very long hair on scuttelum! Is id possible? from this Tachi-fly? place: Amsterdam forest if needed, I got more detailed pictures. Amazing find. It is the male of Lypha dubia. Common early spring species in forest, but this is really very early. My first record so far was from 29th of march. You beat this by more than 4 weeks ! Theo |
