I see no reason it couldn't be Strauzia longipennis. How many species of Strauzia are in Europe? In America there is a similar, rare species on Verbesina. |

Yes, it is. I collected it last summer in the south of Berlin, next to the place we recorded it in 2009, so why not? Looks like I must observe Friedrichshain these weekends. Which part of the park is it? (Oh, I see, also a cemetary)

Georgen-Parochial-Friedhof, Boxhagener Str. A great hunting place, lots of „uncared“ corners😉. I like to go there when I am in Berlin (flat around the corner) I am here until Saturday afternoon, yesterday too windy, hardly any sun. Just saw 2-3 Merodon moenium females and the first Crabronidae. Thank you all for the confirmation, Jörg |
