Hello,

I observed this dipteran on May 20 in the Desvres forest in the North of France. I'm thinking of a Tephritis. What do you think ? If so, can we determine the species from the photo?

Best regards,
Maxime

From the wing pattern, we can choose from this photo among Tephritis conyzifoliae, crepidis and leontodontis in the Northern France. All need ovipositor dissection.
