Hello,

I photographed this fly on a lily bud in the garden today. Is it Myopa testacea or buccata?
Finding data: Germany, Saarland, Bexbach, garden, 250 m, 24.05.2024

Greetings, Volker

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
