Hello, This hairy bee rests on a Chicory (Cichorium intybus) flower head on the Baltic Island of Usedom in August. I suppose it is Dasypoda hirtipes, though I have already seen specimens with more hairs on the hind legs. A confirmation or correction, respectively, would be fine! Its a male of Dasypoda hirtipes. Males have less hairs than females. Regards, Christian |
