Hello Forum,

I still need help with several diptera. Here the next one. Again a fly from the alder marshland in Hagen (D) 175 m above sea level. This photo I took on May 1st 2007. The plant in the background is Cardamine amara.

May be the fly belongs to Bombyliidae? Is it B. sulphureus?

without seeing wing venation is difficult...

To answer to the first question : it belongs to Bombyliidae. Wink
